ESWT Therapy (Shockwave Therapy)
Unlike the current, conventional drug-based therapy, shockwave therapy generated electromagnetically for erectile dysfunction is an innovative medical treatment that addresses the cause of ED, not just its symptoms. Erectile dysfunction treatment can be approached on three levels.
The first approach is medication-based, with products available on the market from the group known as phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. Another treatment option includes invasive surgical methods, such as penile revascularization procedures or the implantation of inflatable penile prostheses. However, these approaches come with significant disadvantages, including high costs and aesthetic drawbacks.
